Causes of Sciatica?
Sciatica is caused by a pinched nerve in the lumbar spine. There are specific nerves that exit the low back spine
that control specific parts of the legs. L1, L2, L3 nerves controls the upper part of the thigh. L4 nerve
controls the inner part of the calf. L5 nerve controls the outer part of the calf to the big toe. S1 nerve controls
the back of the leg and bottom and outer part of the foot. If you experience radiating pain down the leg or numbness
or tingling in the leg or foot then you have sciatica.
TREATMENT FOR SCIATICA: 1. Spinal Adjustment: We do specific
adjustments to correct spinal misalignments that cause pinched nerves. 2. Trigger points: Muscle
work to take away spasms that can contribute to sciatica. 3. Spinal alignment therapies:
We teach the patient specific exercises to stabalize spine. Therapies include electrical stimulation to relax muscles, Lumbar
postural traction to restore normal lumbar curve and strengthening exercise machines to strengthen weakened muscles contributing
to sciatica. 4. Spinal decompression therapy: If a disc herniation is causing sciatica we
offer a state of the art "spinal decompression" which helps correct herniated discs. It has a 89% success
rate. CALL NOW FOR RELIEF 845-623-0026
